Nuestra experiencia de alrededor de 20 años, nos muestra que la mayoría de las personas adultas, encuentran en el Sistema FinePick-PocketPick,
un aliado utilísimo para ayudarse a remover alimentos atrapados interdentalmente. El FinePick de doble punta, por su tamaño es un instrumento de lavabo. La punta romboidal es de gran utilidad, sin embargo es importante consultar con su dentista para establecer un programa personalizado de como usarlo. El PocketPick es un palillo portátil de gran flexibilidad y versatilidad que sustituye al palillo de madera. Las personas lo llevan siempre consigo en bolsa o bolsillo, y les ha durado años.
En conclusión, usted deberá CONSULTAR CON SU DENTISTA antes de usarlo, o bien si presenta alguna de las siguientes condiciones:
1. Implantes y/o carillas.
2. Coronas, resinas, amalgamas u otras restauraciones con espacio interdental reducido, o bien Coronas cementadas provisionalmente.
3. Poca habilidad manual o brusquedad por parte del usuario. O bien siente que se lastima al usarlo.Su dentista conoce perfectamente su caso y está a cargo de su programa de higiene dental personalizado. Seguramente ya le ha dicho como utilizar el cepillo, hilo y otros productos de higiene interdental. Le dirá si es que puede también utilizar el FinePick y el PocketPick, en que sitios y haciéndolo con la técnica correcta.
¿Y EN ORTODONCIA?
Brackets y arcos atrapan alimentos al comer, sin embargo, ni el PocketPick ni el FinePick pueden dejarse en manos de adolescentes inexpertos y NUNCA EN MANOS de los niños. Su ortodoncista ha establecido un programa de higiene dental personalizado, y si el considera que en el caso en particular puede ser útil el uso del PocketPick, le enseñará a los padres y al paciente como utilizarlo.
Nunca hay que forzar el FinePick o PocketPick entre los dientes. Aunque su palillo contrangluado es flexible, se puede llegar a doblar por un mal uso. Si se llegase a doblar, ya no puede ser utilizado, compre uno nuevo ¡Un PocketPick o FinePick deformado, ya no puede ser utilizado!
¡Manténga el FinePick o PocketPick fuera del alcance de los niños. Nunca pierda de vista a los niños pequeños, es la mejor manera de evitar accidentes en el hogar!

More than 20 years ago, we started producing and selling the FinePick and PocketPick system in México. We DO NOT EXPORT it to the US or Canada. It is ONLY available in México. The reported experience of our users is overwhelmingly positive.
Regarding the FinePick, it stands as a versatile instrument right beside the toothbrush and other dental cleaning aids. Its right angle rombo-point is unique and highly useful. It is important to emphasize that a stop to your family dentist is needed, so he or she can established a personalized site-specific use of your FinePick.
The PocketPick, in contrast, is a highly useful personal device with functions similar to a toothpick, to use at home or to carry in the burse or pocket when eating outside. When properly used, the PocketPick will last for years! It stands in sharp contrast with ‘single-use- and-discard’ devices whether of plastic or wood (like the toothpick). Climate change is real. Planet earth did not, and does not belong to any given generation, we must be responsible for the world our kids and grandchildren will inherit.
Can anybody use it?
Consider the following scenarios:
1. If you have dental implants, extensive dental work, e.g., bridges, veneer ceramic restorations, resins, gum or periodontal problems, please CONSULT WITH YOUR DENTIST first before using the FinePick or PocketPick. He or she knows your specific case in detail and has established a comprehensive regular routine dental hygiene program for you. Your dentist should have the last word on whether to use the PocketPick, and how to use it. Sometimes you just don’t know if it is suited for your personal dental conditions. Always consider CONSULTING WITH YOUR DENTIST first !
2. Manual dexterity also comes into play. There are a number of possibilities for which people are not efficient with their hands, obviously the FinePick or PocketPick are not suited for them.
3. Teenagers undergoing orthodontic treatment involving brackets and wires, can be tempted to use them after eating. A word of CAUTION & WARNING. It is the orthodontist who should decide if the PocketPick or FinePick can or can not be used in that particular case. If yes, the orthodontist then should instruct both, parents and patient on the best way to use it.
4. Never force the PocketPick or FinePick through interdental spaces, you can hurt yourself and although the PocketPick is flexible, when misused it can bend. Trying to straighten it out will break it!. A BENT PocketPick should be DISCARDED.
5. Keep away from the reach of children!
